Questions about your first Sunday

What time is Sunday service?

Sunday service begins at 10:00 AM Central at Good News Co., 185 W 12th St, Cookeville, TN 38501.

How long is Sunday service?

Sunday service at Good News Co. usually lasts about 75–80 minutes.

When should I arrive?

Service starts at 10:00 AM Central. The sanctuary opens and Sunday Kid Check-In begins at 9:30 AM, giving you time to get settled before service.

Where do I park, and who can help me find my way?

Attendants at the road will help you with parking. Welcome teams at the entrances and friendly faces wearing name badges can help you find your way.

Is there an accessible entrance and additional seating?

There is an accessible ramp entrance, with restrooms right off the sanctuary. Seating is available in the sanctuary and in the lobby, where you can follow the service on a live screen.

What should I wear?

Casual dress is fine! Come as you are.

What happens during the service?

We worship Jesus, hear teaching from the Bible, and pray together. You’re welcome to participate or simply observe as you get to know the church.

What will my children do?

Children from birth through preschool have classes with age-appropriate teaching and care. Elementary-age children worship with their families, with parents and teachers working together on the right transition.

There’s more to the week

Midweek Discipleship Nights.

Wednesdays are a place to grow in faith and get to know one another. Join us for discipleship, prayer, and time together—you don’t have to wait until Sunday to find your place.

Our usual Wednesday gatherings begin at 6:00 PM Central. On the first Wednesday of each month, everyone gathers on campus for Prayer Night. On other Wednesdays, men’s and women’s Circle Small Groups meet on campus—join anytime! Elementary Kids Service meets in Building 2, and Student Service meets in the sanctuary.
